The 3rd EHS Medical Conference
On May 11th and 12th, we proudly hosted the 3rd EHS Medical Conference at the picturesque Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort. Dedicated to the health and safety of Dibba Hospital, the event was graced by sponsorship from esteemed pharmaceutical companies such as Novo Nordisk, Bayer, AstraZeneca, CSL Vifor, Amgen, and Pulse Medical Equipment. The conference brought together about 120 attendees, featured four comprehensive sections, and showcased the expertise of approximately 25 specialist speakers. It was a remarkable gathering, fostering valuable insights and advancements in medical care.
On the first day of our conference, we delved into two insightful sessions. Session 1, "Obesity: Bridging Research and Practice for Effective Prevention and Management Strategies," was expertly chaired by Dr. Muhamed Ali A-Rohani, Consultant in Internal Medicine, and Dr. Hatem Abdel Hamid Abdel-Rahman, Consultant in General Surgery, both from Dibba Hospital. Session 2, "Comprehensive Approach to Diabetes Management," was led by Dr. Salem Abdula Salem Omar and Dr. Mohammed Babiker, both esteemed Consultants in Internal Medicine at Dibba Hospital. These sessions highlighted cutting-edge research and practical strategies, fostering a deep understanding of obesity and diabetes management.
On the second day of our conference, attendees engaged in two insightful sessions. Session 3, "Unveiling Cardiovascular Complexity: Advances in Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention," was chaired by Dr. Thair Khuziem, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Fujairah Hospital, and Dr. Ali Mostfa Mohebaldeen, Specialist in Cardiology at Dibba Hospital. Session 4, "Advancing the Fight Against Kidney Disease," was led by Dr. Mohomed Edan Mohomed, Consultant in Internal Medicine at Dibba Hospital, and Dr. Dawlat Sany, Consultant in Internal Medicine at Kalba Hospital. These sessions illuminated the latest advancements in cardiovascular and kidney disease management, offering invaluable knowledge and fostering enhanced clinical practices.
